Digital Lending Committee

Ecosystem

FCC’s Digital Lending Committee plays an active role in the policy making processes. Our members comprises a robust network of over 95 members, including Lending Service Providers (LSPs), Regulated Entities (REs), Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), and Technology Service Providers in the lending domains. The Committee works in various lending niches such as asset-backed, MSME, educational, green vehicle, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), consumer, personal, housing, and gold loans. This diverse mix enables the committee to address and drive cross-industry agendas effectively.

FCC, on behalf of the industry, advocates for various issues emanating from operating in this sector. Bringing all ecosystem stakeholders under one roof, we bridge the gap between the industry and the government, policymakers regulatory bodies to shape the regulatory and supervisory environment that support innovation.

With an aim to tackle operational challenges and respond to regulatory updates. This dynamic approach ensures that the committee remains at the forefront of industry developments and can advocate for the needs and interests of its members.

Our work centers around operational simplification for KYC processes for MSMEs, PAN verification access for LSPs, and enhancing the overall lending ecosystem through initiatives such as streamlining e-mandate registrations, advocating for fair regulatory practices, and fostering collaboration on digital lending frameworks.
